Broke out. Returned.
Well, I loved the texture and cleansing ability, it even took off my waterproof mascara. However after the 3rd day of using this balm I started getting little red bumps on my face. So I looked it up and there were several chemicals in this balm that could cause that. One was a type of limonene, a known irritant, and the other was a long name I'd never heard of. Apparently, I'm not the only person who has had a reaction. Neither of theses chemicals were necessary. One is a fragrance and the other just an additive for something or another. My real question is why would Estee Lauder even add these if they aren't necessary? Fragrance? Why?

Burned and irritated my eyes badly
First I want to say that I am an Estée customer for well over 20 years. I use many of their products on a regular basis from makeup to skincare. This is why I am so angry, because I have always trusted them. I used the advanced night repair eye cream that I received as a sample for 2 days. I am now in such pain. My eyelids are swollen, raw, red and chaffed. My eyelashes have fallen out have my eye!! I stopped using it immediately when I realized what was happening. I was so concerned that I decided to write a review. Then I get an incredible shock to see all the other reviews stating the same thing as me. How is it still being sold!!!!!! Shame on you Estee Lauder!!!

Burned and blistered my skin
Jar that came with 2025 Christmas kit burned and blistered my skin. Tried another day and same thing happened. Threw out jar. Tried a sample packet from a different order and same red blistering occurred. Something is horrible with this product formulation.

Luxury Cleanser
This is the second time I have purchased the Estée Lauder Advanced Night Cleansing Balm. It feels like a luxury spa product. It performs well removing all makeup and leaves my face feeling moisturized and soft.
I would have given it 5 stars if the quantity was greater. Its a small amount of product for the cost. I have only purchased this product when I could get it on sale. I might save it for winter use when my skin tends to be more dry.
