Love new formula

I really like the new formula it’s very buildable and not drying. The old formula was super drying and the color was never great. I have mature oily skin that still can look dry with foundation. This looks natural to many layers can look cakey through. I’m nc30 in Mac and 230 in Haus. I would purchase again.

New formula is awful

A Sephora employee told me the formula changed because an ingredient in the foundation is now banned in Europe. So. In order to keep selling in Europe they had to change the formula. I used it for a decade and now I have to find something else. It transfers, I have make up fingerprints on basically anything I touch! No longer full coverage, doesn’t last the full day, and now it makes my skin oily.

HORRIBLE!!!!

I have used Estée Lauder Double Wear for the past 10 years, and changing the formula was honestly the worst thing they could have done. The coverage is absolutely horrible compared to the original formula. I’m so disappointed and upset with this change. Double Wear was my holy-grail foundation, and I never thought I would have to look for something else. After 10 years of using the same foundation, I’m now going to have to find a new one because of this formula change. Please bring back the original formula! 😭

I wanted to share some feedback regarding the new formula. Unfortunately, I’ve noticed that it does not provide the same level of coverage as the previous formula, and it also leaves my skin looking noticeably more oily throughout the day. I found the old formula to be more suitable for my skin. I hope Estee Lauder will consider bringing back the original formula or making adjustments to the new formula to provide the same coverage and finish that customers loved about the previous version.

Miss the old formula

Miss the old formula, new formula does not last and doesn’t give you that photoshop finish. Doesn’t stay matte, oil pops through and does not look good. Do no recommend purchasing.

I stopped buying this product after the formula change. The color and consistency have changed. It’s more of a thinner liquid than before. I have used this for many years unfortunately now I’m currently seeking a new everyday foundation.
