worth the hype

i've been a ysl liquid blush stan for the past couple years but decided to try these because the shades are unique are gorgeous. i actually like this formula better and it's much more affordable! the ysl blushes are amazing but INSTANTLY highly pigmented, so it's easy to go overboard, and i'm already blush-blind as it is 😂. i also get patches where the ysl blush just will not adhere to my skin, which is common and likely due to my skin chemistry, but it's much easier to cover with this rhode formula. they're buildable, long wearing, and blend beautifully. highly recommend! i just wish sephora could keep them in stock. not a huge fan of the bulky packaging either but whatever, it's cute, just harder to fit in my makeup bag. i have cool toned fair skin and i got tan line and toasted teddy. picking up spicy marg and piggy next.

Don't be afraid of the color!

I was initially worried this color would be too bright, but after reading other reviews, I decided to give it a try. I’ve been using it for a couple of weeks now and love it. It blends out effortlessly and a little product goes a long way. Don't let the bright red intimidate you! Giving it 4/5 because the color does dissipate a bit throughout the day, but it's still a great formula and I would repurchase!

i don’t wear makeup super often and when i do i go for a way more natural look and i don’t really care much if my makeup fades. that said, i quite enjoy this blush, even if i accidentally use too much i can blend it out really easily and it gives me a nice flush. would definitely recommend for any other girls with dark skin. i like to set it with the Tower 28 powder blush in Downtown Daiquiri

Not long lasting or fair-complexion-friendly

The colour doesn’t last the whole day, and it’s hard to find a good colour for my complexion. I swatched all of them in store and settled on Teacup. SO hard to blend out, and all of them are really dark or bright, nothing that blends seamlessly, nothing suitable for very fair complexions. I wanted to understand the hype, but it’s just not for me, and that’s okay.
